About Us

Since 1971 William M. Rosenblum has had a distinguished career in numismatics, specializing in all aspects of Israel, Palestine and Jewish numismatic material (ancient to modern), and ancient, medieval and modern coins, paper money, tokens and medals of the world. He has published over 250 auction catalogs and fixed price lists, is a member of numerous numismatic organizations, and has contributed to many numismatic publications. See some of William's career highlights below.

William is mostly retired now, but still has a substantial inventory of coins, banknotes, tokens, medals, and other numismatic items available. His son Brian and grandson Shimon, based in Lawrence, Kansas, have relaunched this website to make some of these materials available. You might think of us as Rosenblum & Son & Grandson Coins!

  • Full-time professional numismatist since 1973, part-time since 1971
  • Published over 250 auction catalogs and fixed price lists
  • Appraised coins and collections for lawyers, banks and insurance companies
  • Recipient of the 20 Year Krause Customer Service Award, presented to those who have had and exemplary record of mail order service for 20 years
  • Since 1996, instructor of "Numismatics of the Holyland from Ancient to Modern Times" at the American Numismatic Association's Summer Seminar
  • Given speeches and presentations on various aspects of coins and banknotes throughout the country
  • Run public auctions in California, Colorado and Texas
  • Sold both privately and through auction numerous "name" collections including those of Morty Zerder, Morris Bram and Saul Sugar. Also chosen to appraise the famous Kagan-Maremba collection of Israel and Palestine coins.
